Where can I get best chai (tea) in Bay Area?
Take advantage of today's rally and sell everything due to bearish sentiment. I don't see any good economic news in the near term. I would bet reduced earnings across industry, mad inflation, are in the card.
When do you plan to re enter the market? How will you know it's the right time? What will you with the money?
Dunno about re-entering timing, maybe DCA when I hear positive economic news. For the cash, more down payment when I write my next offer.
What are the tax implications if we sold and bought same stock in a month or two
Short term gain is regular income. Long term gain is 20% I believe. Re-entering starts the counter again.
Wash rule applies if you have realized losses
I will do the exact opposite of what this poll says.
People have been in a bearish sentiment since 2008 lmao
Maybe because it’s obvious that the entire market rally since 2009 was fueled by Fed moneyprinting, ie it’s fake and illusory wealth. If it weren’t for moneyprinting, stocks would never be at these levels. Everyone is anxious because they’re waiting for the shoe to drop; but when, or how, that happens will only be obvious in retrospect.
Nonsense. We had real tech growth since 2010. The entire smartphone and social media era started. That’s what caused growth. Big tech era.
Always funny to see people panicking on a normal 5-10% correction after 4 months of non-stop pumping. Posts like yours always signal that we are close to the bottom.
