Any thoughts or insight in H2O.ai as a place to work? I am looking at a remote machine learning position. Just started interview process.
They were once 0xdata. One of their founders left and is now competing with them. YMMV but I try and minimize risks at startups.
What's the other startup they founded?
Isn’t there a non compete clause that prevent that founder from starting a competing company?
Can anyone explain their business model?
They got an ai in their name. How dare you question the AI magic wand?
It seems like they are selling enterprise AI. The machine learning role was more like a field engineering role. Helping sales close the deal or helping integration after purchase. Their was a strong travel component - which I could not commit to. TC was 200-240. Again YMMV.
Heard bad stories from h2o people
I personally don’t trust any company with a “.ai” in their name
Lol
It does seem artificial
