Modi 3.0 | First 100 days: Top 5 reforms you wish to see
I’ve searched far and wide for deeper insight into Optivers SWE interviews and I cannot find any specifics. I know HackerRank test, white board sessions, ect but nothing on the type of questions. I’m thinking of interviewing their soon and I’d like to prep for what to expect. It’s doesn’t seem widely known like FAANG. TC: 110k YOE: 3
I’d like to hear how it went. I think it could be heavily c++ oriented with principal arch/os concepts like caching, branch prediction, parallel instructions, etc.
Do you know how hard an optiver new grad software engineering role is to get?
No idea tbh, but I would expect something similar to what experienced candidate could see with less impact on details, there are plenty of clever and brilliant c++ graduates so expectations may be more or less same.
Their job postings say c++/Java. If it’s all C++, I’m not interested lol. I have not interviewed yet. I’m prepping
How was your HR round?
Never interviewed, I need to refresh on my data structures and am leet coding now.
Don't leetcode. I also have my HR round on 27th. They're way into networking and OS stuff. Their interviews won't include any DSA
