My wife is debating about taking an Inmobi (SF) offer with 1000 RSUs. Her current company is trying to counter her to stay and now she’s on the fence. We are trying to compare comp packages. What is the current stock price? She was told $100. Is that at the 15B valuation? Are people inside getting excited for the IPO? Also, any insight to the culture in SF? She’s offered a WFH role, but she wants to go in some of the time. Thanks in advance! My TC: 250k Equity: 2% (non-founder) YOE: 18, hybrid EM/SWE/PM role At a 20 person startup, 2MM ARR
AFAIK, there was no tech team in SF, almost all tech people sit in Irvine office. But due to WFH and rapid expansion they're hiring for remote position as well and probably in future SF may become one of the tech hub of InMobi. There shouldn't be a problem if you want to go to office but let your recruiter know about your intentions because sometimes they've to take care of some infrastructure related things for employees. Everyone is too excited about the IPO, atleast I'm 😂. Yeah 100$ is been told every new joinee and people are expecting it to go around 150$ when it goes for an IPO, but who knows.
What is the role?
I reluctant to say role as there are not many in SF and would be a dead giveaway as she’s the only hire for the role. It’s non-tech.
Tc or gtfo
I gave mine in original post, is that not ok?
What is Inmobi offer
What is inmobi offering?
130k + 10k bonus + 1000 RSUs, non-tech role
1000*100 = 100k USD = 7500k INR (in 4years it will also grow) I feel it is deal one should not miss. IPO is coming... it will grow more.
Inmobi is an excellent company. I have been working here since 3 years. My suggestion would be to factor in other points as well while making the decision because I doubt it's going to be 100$. Also I feel the IPO will take some time it's not happening as soon as people are believing
Can’t compare really, you need to share some information about her tc/ company etc
She joined and loves the initiatives and trajectory of the company. The leadership seem seem very solid and are attacking many different areas of mobile, cloud, and social.

Why Worshipping Lord Ram Important in Hinduism?
Decision totally depends on what company she is in and her current TC vs expected compensation at inmobi. I have also heard they are going to IPO in 2021
