Can Apple make GPUs and f**k Nvidia
Apple is the best chip designer in my opinion. Why don’t they take Nvidia’s market share. They are definitely capable. BTW, meta, Google, msft, and even alibaba, baidu are making their own GPUs. It’s not that hard after all. Much easier than M3. Edit: I don’t mean integrated GPU. I mean standalone GPUs + CUDA needed by data centers. My logic is very simple, if meta can do it, Apple can do it much better. TC 1M

Apple does make GPUs, they are just integrated.
Nvidia also makes software that extracts the most of its gpus.

Apple is shit. Does not support many common open source libraries on their supposedly better GPUs.
You don't even need to start from scratch. AMD was selling IP for 500m in 2019. Read about samsung buying amd ip. Even then, catching up to Nvidia means you need an army of dedicated and clever engineers/architect/performance specialists which big tech cannot hire or keep

AI needs a parallel computing platform for processing millions of patterns in Seconds and CUDA provides that.
