I work for SVB (non-IT) and can vouch for it too! Amazing workplace with talented colleagues. Their bonus is significantly higher than industry and their RSUs start at Director level (M4 onwards).

I went through the process. No offer. The people I met and spoke with seemed really smart (except for not giving me an offer lol) and their tech stack looked reasonably current. As for compensation I don’t have my notes in front of me but the compensation was really good for banking. Not FANG but darn close, except for the RSUs of course. The role I applied for was management of a tech team and I think base was going to be $200k. Maybe more, the interview was last year and I don’t remember.

RSUs are what put FANG offers well above other companies. So why do you think SVB is damn close to FANG even though there are no RSUs?
