genAI/LLM startup interview
Curious for genAI startup (cohere, Anthropic, openAI) interview, is it still the general system design like live comment, twitter feed etc? Or they are heavily asking LLM domain design question like RAG architecture, vector database scalability, query understanding etc? I’m just fed up with all these general sys design questions as I don’t have chance to actually work on different systems in real work.
Am curious to know the type people that have gotten into these startups esp the SWE, would love to interact with them and learn one or two things from them. I recently did an interview with them, was level Easy as per leetcode but wasn’t a leetcode question. Did it well, and it was doing what was expected, answered follow up questions, unfortunately was rejected 😂. I wondered what they are always looking for in their interviews. Curious to know and learn.
