Work culture? Management communication with employees? Growth opportunities? Salary?
You tell me?
Hadn't heard about the company until I saw this post, so I did some digging around. the company is headquartered near Atlanta, and they don't seem to be hiring very actively here in bay area. My guess is they will close down the office and move base fully to Atlanta. Based on LinkedIn search (I love my product :-)), they seem to have very few senior management in bay area.
What company is that?
They build online banking I think main office is in Portland
HQ is in Milwaukee. Good place to work. Some presence in Silicon Valley.
Ok so to correct all of you. Fiserv headquarters is in Wisconsin. They have presence in multiple locations across the United States and overseas
I work for Fiserv. On paper WI is headquarters but real headquarters is Alpharetta GA.
That’s not true. The “real” HQ is Brookfield, WI although they’re looking at real estate in Milwaukee (Brookfield is a suburb and working hard to keep them there). Alpharetta is the premier location because they just renovated and moved in there in 2015. There’s a balance of leadership at both locations, however the rumors that they’re making Alpharetta corporate aren’t substantiated. Fiserv was born in Wisconsin. Also, not a ton of presence in Silicone Valley, but depending on what role you’re in a lot of positions are remote (sales, product), and you don’t have to be at a base for upward mobility. However, the positions don’t pay Silicone Valley salaries so there’s that.
It’s not entirely wrong. Prior to Fiserv acquiring Checkfree, Checkfree’s HQ was Norcross GA. That office remained as a dual HQ if you will until they established the new location in Alpharetta. Although it’s all Fiserv now, there is a feeling of a dual HQ. The w2’s say Brookfield but there is a lot of senior leadership presence in Alpharetta.
Worked there for 3 years. Large company but technology seems to be older. Stock has been doing well for a few years now. Culture: Basic 9-5 with 1%-2% pay raise. Seems like they are trying to change the culture and make it more “hip”. Management is mediocre at best.
You'd be the one who could answer that.
