would you ever write a glassdoor review on your employer?
Yes but they get heavily purged
Who will get heavily purged?
A significant number of reviews are removed. They've followed BigTech's mass censorship lead and HR departments know they can report ones they dislike
Poll
Not a bad idea, I'll throw it up
Yea, well more inclined to do so for past employers than current
Yea totally agree, it's easier to reflect on the experience fairly for past employers
Not really. I don’t think there is actually a good place to do that
Depends? Couldn't you get away with it at large firms?
We had a guy do this and everyone knew who it was and company management knew so pretty sure he’s blacklisted at multiple firms
Why? Was it a bad review? Sounds terrible.
Yeah he was one of the worst analysts we ever had so kinda got pushed out, low bonus. He wrote some ridiculous review that was obviously him and it got passed around the firm
Maybe if the place was absolutely horrible
Maybe at a large one but any smallish shop where you’re easily identifiable sounds like a mistake
Definitely easier to do at a larger firm
