Are you sure this is legit? The username of the “recruiter” was created 1 day ago and this is there first post. Also, big companies pay a lot for LI data, and a bootcamp would hypothetically love to have the backing of a G recruiter. Point being that G could sort out candidates even better through existing or hypothetical channels than a blanket Reddit post.

Google has been hiring a lot of bootcamp grads with no experience. To be frank, it’s unfair for CS grads and engineers who have professional experience since they’re asked much tougher and harder questions.
Pinterest does this. We ask easy questions from a common question bank to “apprentices” who are part of a DEI pipeline. After their apprenticeship they get converted to full time.
