currently project matching for google's summer 2023 swe internship and was wondering if anyone had tips/general info on the process. is it wise to reject a project matching offer if it doesn't align with your interests, or are projects too scarce to reject? also, how could i best answer the questionnaire to set myself up for the best possible outcome? #google
Bro, just chill and enjoy the process. It’s not that hard to get a return from G
asking bc i project matched before and didn't get matched lol, not talking/worried about return offers
when did you enter the project match pool when you weren't matched at all?
Dude did your recruiter tell you you were in project matching. I didn’t get macthed last time as well but maybe it was the timing because i started in April. But my recruiter told me it starts in November so he will let me know then
yeah, i was informed i moved to project matching, but i don't think managers start searching until november (you're right)

It's hard to pick the right project as you can't get all the knowledge u want for ur daily survival from a 30 min call with manager. Choose the team that uses the technology u are familiar with. At least you won't be crippled here learning everything new.
