How to relocate out of Blue areas?

Ugh who fucking cares. Every trading firm pays more than either. Stop prestige chasing, it’s pathetic.
You are living in the past.
They have same value on a CV. Probably matters most what you are doing and how it matches your career trajectory if you need a tie breaker.
Having one over the other isn’t going to wildly change your career for the next job hop. However, the work you did and how long you stayed is way more important. If you got promoted, that objectively helps you get at least that level or +1 at the next company.
Both companies are overloaded and people can easily make 2x more money than average companies out while growth from a learning perspective is the worst. Some who has been at Meta for 15 years know almost like a startup guy with 6-7 years of experience. In terms of comparison between Google and Meta, definitely Google has some real products without which life becomes difficult for many people across the globe. But what is Meta and places like tiktok doing? Nothing! Their apps are mainly used by kids and stupid influencers. Who cares about posting uncle amghezi's photos on instagram? So if they vanish today, it is not going to be a big deal at all. They do not address real needs.
Ya imagine wanting to work on business software instead of social media platforms with billions of mau.
Depends on the actual work, because most of people in Google are just maintaining some internal tools or services. Which has zero value outside Google.
