got fired, what should i do?
I got fired from one of the big tech at a business strategy role. Now in career gap. How can I handle “why did you leave the firm？ ” “why you are hot in employment status?” this kind of questions and background check (dont think ex-boss would say good stuff)

Fired or laid off?
Depends on the reason you got fired for. If it’s for politics or something then that can be spun, if it’s for a major HR violation then that can be questionable. You could always figure out what the former employer says in a background check. Some companies say as little as possible due to liability reasons. If that’s the case you could always say you left. As long as you are 100% certain no information is coming out of that employer
Just say, new management came in and replaced many people with their team.
Did you get fired or laid off?
Just say you were downsized. They cannot find out you were fired during background check.
Just say it's strategic decision. It fits your role right in anyway

Cheer up - it happens to the best of us. Also depending on the company, chances are that they will not (and usually don't) disclose reason for leaving only start date - end date and tittle.
If you’re young, go travel
Not that young...And next employer is gonna ask...and on work visa :(
