Latentview Analytics - is it a trash company like other consultancies?
One of my friend joined Latentview last year(Q1) and he was recently thrown out of there since his 'mentor' didn't like him and was v v rude and my friend complained about his mentor's behavior to his manager. He said those who are directly dealing with clients don't want others to directly start interacting with them. He was promised H1b visa but they never filed it and fired him before that. His mentor made sure that he gets a bad review and emailed all the managers in the company that this guy is incompetent(which he is definitely not). How can people be so bad? Is it true that Indian consulting companies are a just piece of trash and just don't care about anyone's career? Why these consulting companies are full of politics and don't really focus on working a constructive atmosphere for everyone to work?
You have to understand ICC business model. They pay the least amount to get you work authorization, some of them fabricate experience and market to clients, do illegal shady stuff like pay you less than what is promised on h1b petition etc. It's used by people who can't get into more reputable consulting firms or get hired as fte. There are plenty of f1 students who continue working there and plenty of h1b workers who don't or can't leetcode
