Moving from Linux background to windows

Context: C/C++/Python developer in linux eco-system. Lets say way too comfortable in it. Like w.r.t shells, compiler, os concepts and usage etc Total 9 years of industry experience. Would it be good idea to join MSFT hyper-v team for developing hyper-v system features. How would it be ? How uncomfortable I will be !!?

Windows copied lot from unix. So you should be fine

Windows has subsystem for Linux. You can use that if you miss unix world. You will adjust fine. I think when/if you learn powershell , you will prefer it over bash or other unix shell.
