Bloomberg layoffs?
Have a new grad SDE offer at Bloomberg starting in mid September. Given the recent layoffs at companies such as Coinbase, Tesla,etc and the overall state of the fintech market. Is there a chance Bloomberg will start laying off as well? Yoe-0 TC- 180k #bloomberg #newgrad

Bloomberg didnt do layoffs in 08. Terminals subscriptions stay constant even during recession. You will be fine
And a private company like BBG needs a real reason to announce layoffs? Not saying they will, but just healthy challenge to your notion.
Considering 80% of profits go to philanthropy, bbg has more than enough cash on hand to do what they need to do

If anything we hire when others layoff. Cash rich. No competition. Product that thrives during market/economy turmoils
