This is my recent experience with Front End engineering interviews and getting 3 offers. Re-Sharing it here for the Blind FrontEnd community as there is not much info about FE Interviews. Started around May exploring opportunities in Front End. . YOE: 9 Rippling: SSE Rejected due to long notice period as per recruiter/hr. Couldn't do well as already was burned out due to personal life crisis + daily work + giving the above interviews back to back in 4 weeks. Companies who reached very late after a month of offers are Google ( i am not yet good at LC hards so didn't move forward), Zeta and OCI. Interview preparation: JS: MDN Docs and Javascript.info were more than enough for me to clear the above interviews. FE Architecture + System Design: I have worked in complex React + TypeScript codebase and all other related tools so had good basics. "Front End Engineer" and "JSer" youtube channel were helpful. Took initial few lessons from Grokking System Design course. Solved many problems in below portals too: Bfe.dev https://github.com/kolodny/exercises https://jskatas.org/ Go through the above leetcode posts comments where i have share some more about preparation. Other companies either i received CV rejection or no reply: Microsoft, Intuit, LinkedIn, Salesforce, InMobi, Adobe, Rubrik, Tekion, Ally.io, Apple, Razorpay, Nvidia and VMware. As more companies started having specialised FE roles the pay is also getting better as well as the interviews. Personally i feel FE interviews are getting tougher in the sense you have to be good at leetcode + be in edge with CSS gotchas, JS, FE component architecture ( State management, Data model expecation from BE), Security and some understanding of BE infra related stuffs.
