Hi guys, I'll be graduating in June 2023 and I'm currently looking for New Grad roles (mainly FAANG+). I'm currently located in Europe (so I'd prefer roles there, but I'm also open for US referrals although I'd need H1B). LC: 1400+ (2 internships + currently working full-time SWE for 🥜 lol) Thanks! :) #google #bloomberg #meta #janestreet #jumptrading #citadel #amazon #uber #snowflake #datadog #twilio #twitter #tesla #apple #spotify #slack #microsoft #paypal #dropbox #lyft #stripe #spotify #instacart #square #hudsonrivertrading #faang
How long it takes for you to solve a medium and a hard respectively now?
Maybe he cheats 😂 or have cheated all 1400+
Easies 1-2mins, meds 5-10mins, hards 10-30mins (still struggling on hards though). Usually do 3/4 in contests under 30mins
Man WTH, ppl like u makes our life tougher. You are raising the bar 😒 Good luck BTW
You listed Spotify twice
thanks! I'm currently working full time (started last month), so I don't have time anymore, but I'll look into it
definitely! In my current college, not even git was taught (only cvs). Only in my previous internship I learned about CI/CD, gradle, docker, debugging, stack trace, etc I felt really dumb, but the curriculum is heavily focused on math, calculus and a lot of other stuff
These are the kind of code monkeys folks already in the industry are up against. God bless us all lmao
Don't worry. Had a lc monkey join my team as a mid level engineer. He even cleared the system design rounds lol . Person couldn't follow a stack trace or do a simple performance profiling for code. Needed a lot of handholding. Got put under performance plan and had to leave. People can practice lc and do mock system design interviews to get past today's modern day interviews but there is no substitute for real world software experience. Fyi: You are safe. I have done a sum total of 97 LC and go through all the fangs in my 11 year career but yeah these over the top LC questions might be a problem for us in case we want to switch in future.
Yeah I’m not worried, it was more of a joke. I haven’t done more than 30 LC in my life but I’ve worked at G, Netflix, FB and now at Snap.
Rofl. Blind should ban this mf
Whats your contest rating?
1.8k but I've only been doing virtual's for some months now, but I usually place ~1-2k/19k, so real rating should be around 1.9/2k
Ok but what language c++ ?
Python3
I am from a third world country with only HS degree but strong luck 😂
why so few hard questions? LC easy is not enough for Fanng
I think 90 hard questions is pretty good enough, not everyone is a robot
I started to do 500 easies, then 800 mediums and only now I'm starting to go to hards. I had a lot of free time during college so I just figured I'd do all of them. Now I usually just do contests and hards
