#product #productmanager #Wallstreet My current stats upfront ROLE: PM LOCATION: TORONTO, CANADA BANK: BMO PRIVATE WEALTH YOE: 3 TC: 115K CAD Where am I right now: I want to leave BMO, I dont see any more progress here and I have hit the classic (BAY STREET ROOF) it's Canadian FI reference. Meritocracy ends at a certain level over here. I am all in for the US and Europe and I have 5 year plan, by 2027 1. Work for as AVP PM (just get the foot in the door) for a WSIB/FAANG/PE/VC/HF. 2. Get my EMBA (provisionally accepted to Columbia 2023 spring, pending funding/sponsorship) 3. Finally make something of my self. As of today I have done 100s of applications and this the current state of play: All are USA located ( I was clear I needed sponsorship) Goldman: AVP and VP both in case study stage JPMORGAN: VP round 2 for a few roles Citi: round 2 VP UBS: AVP Blackrock: round 1 Blackstone: round 2 Apollo: round 1 Citidal: round 1 META: round 3 product execution Amazon: round 1 I would appreciate any advise and insights. I'm both excited for the new journey and but also scared. It's my first time taking control of my life, leaving my home country and doing this all on my own. I'm at a point where I have to do this and take the leap.
For meta, take coaching, do mocks. Round 3 means reinterview im guessing.
No way VP level with 3 yoe!!! That’s unheard of
Good luck
