Interviewing at Snyk, exciting pre-ipo company and all looks good but when we’ve gotten to stock allocation as a part of negotiation, the recruiter constantly just gives me the number of RSUs with no concept or reference to the value estimation based on their most recent raise (series D) which makes the nominal value pretty useless. Recruitment team keeps saying it’s not information that they share - and that no one actual knows Bc it’s a private company. My experience is the complete opposite for both ISOs and RSUs for pre-ipo companies. Anyone have a per share value based off their series D raise?
Was for sales role. RSUs were 18k valued at 60k USD. Have since doubled with recent raise.
Was it before or after Snyk’s recent Series E?
Affirmative was before - so they’ve 2x’d about since then. Didn’t take it as would have been a big step down in TC (50k) and I’m currently managing and would have put me back to IC role. Had 3x that in okta on 2 year vest at that point so didn’t make sense. But I’m super high on them and the leadership. Really cool company.
Don’t waste your time interviewing here
Why?
Yeah why?
Why?
You are right, unless you know more info, hard to estimate what those shares are worth And mind sharing their offer?
