Does anyone have any information about Alkami Technology in Plano, TX? Based on Glassdoor it seems like it would be one of the top places to work in the DFW area in regards to comp, stock options, etc... But I've been having a hard time finding any info on them outside of Glassdoor. Has anyone worked/interviewed there and would be able to shed some like on their work environment and TC? TC: 80k Salary + 10k Signing bonus YOE: .25 (3 months)
How is the IPO coming along?
I know this is old but when I interviewed there the guy spent half the interview talking about how he was looking for people willing to work long hours and it wasn't a 40 hour job
Sounds like the culture here
I was laid off (with severance) because I wasn’t fitting in “culturally”…but it was because I didn’t want to work 90 hour work weeks
Former PM here Salary - $110k Bonus - 10% (on the dev side it was team leads and above) Equity - 1y cliff/4y vest
Interesting, that seems pretty low honestly for the area. How many yoe did you have at the time?
Four. I was a level one PM, when I left I was being promoted to an L2 which was ~$125k
I use to work there. Left about a month ago.
How was it? Why did you leave?
They over pay the wrong people. They do hire a lot. But for every 1 person they hire they lose 2 or 3.
Used to work there. On call policy is abused. Some teams ok but some not. If you're on the wrong team expect to have work nonstop, after hours, weekends. "It sucks but we just have to do it." Regular work doesn't fall under the on call policy, or didn't anyway. But the expectation was still that you give up your nights and weekends. Also, the employee handbook was encrypted with a ROT13 type cipher. The font they used made it read like normal but good luck searching for keywords. Again. If you had the right manager or team then you were golden. If not, you were screwed, and literally all your peers knew it.
Management and leadership is a fucking joke. But they pay really good so I don’t care.
Pay for my department was below industry standards and when they left we always had to increase pay to find replacements. Wouldn’t give people who are there pay bumps, but would have to pay more for new people.

Did you join them ? How is the culture.
No, I'm not looking to move for a while. I was just curious if they had and presence here since they seem like a decent next step besides Cap One, Salesforce, and Splunk
Curious how it even got on your radar ..do you think they are growing . 🤔
