It's a great wlb. I generally have independence to work wherever and whenever I want. Many teams are spread across timezones and so work accomplished is valued more than hours spent at your laptop. I never have any issue taking PTO and sometimes receive extra surprise days for the whole department or company. I am newly married and just moved into my first house and have had 0 issues balancing work and life. I genuinely look forward to work each day. Hope this helps answer your question! Btw I am a senior software engineer, 4yoe, ~180tc including stock options and RSUs which will fluctuate based on Datto’s stock performance disclaimer: as with any company, your mileage may vary. I can't speak for every team/manager at the company.
