Doing WHAT? You can be building internal javascript UI tools at all of them. Or you could be building hyper-optimized HFT systems. Or you could be working with quants to write ML models. Or you could be working with traders to develop traditional arbitrage models. etc........ This isn't big tech where you just become an L* and its more or less the same experience. All those funds are large enough and well known enough you can make 10x more at one doing one thing than at the others doing another thing.

I agree with the depends on what one is doing post. I think these three places are among the best places to work in the industry when ones takes into account variables like culture, comp, talent, wlb, technical challenges, stability.
300 TC on 4 yoe at 2s? Time for a change of scenery. You're making less than new grads in the industry in any of Jane, HRT, CitSec, Optiver, Old Mission, Jump

At some firms, that’s just how it is. Chances are the new joiners get paid quite a lot more than most internal folks at the same level, regardless of YOE. Especially true if the internal folks have been there for a while. I would be doubtful of DRW though. The NG amount includes signon bonus and recurring is probably below 250k. OP’s 300 is recurring.

According to Blind employee reviews, Jump (4.9) > HRT (4.8) > JS (4.7). Public perception may be different.

Overall worse. The exception is for very high performers, they can move up really quickly here, which wouldn’t be possible elsewhere. The current US CEO started off as a junior trader about 7 years ago.
