how do you deal with the commute?

I am in the east bay and thinking of doing the haul down to Mt View/Palo Alto. I check the commute every morning and its always hour +. On the return trip it looks like 1.5 hours. If you have a similiar commute what is your strategy? Any tips like carpool or self driving car? Love to hear your thoughts.

I live in Oakland and work in Pleasanton. I am interested in workday but have not been able to make anything happen yet. Still trying. It would be a top pick to keep me close to my current situation.

Ride FAANG client shuttle from SF. Hate the commute. Not getting points. Occasionally get a hotel down there/work from office on fridays.

Move closer. That's a third of a work day commuting.

Moving close to your job is the most logical decision. Anything else short of a helicopter will not help.
