how is box these days in terms of culture / morale? obviously stock hasnt been good but how is it feeling internally?

Been at Box for a number of years in a tech role. Like any company, some teams have a better culture and work-life balance but overall I still like the people and culture. I like the transparency in my org. It’s an interesting time as there’s a shift to look at running more in public cloud and that’s a bit of a concern for some teams until the roadmap is figured out. That’s kinda worrisome for teams that are tied to physical data centers but for those that are more interested in public cloud, it’s an opportunity.
Morale is mixed. Some are very optimistic and some are pessimistic. Culture is great, people are nice and the company seems to care about employees.

Hiring for most roles is frozen until coronavirus goes away
Culture is not great, if we are going to be honest. The place is going backwards many "leaders" are mercenaries.
