how to deal with a micro-managing boss?
just got a new boss( data science manager ) he is micro-managing a lot. how do you guys deal with a manager like that?

Easy. Deluge him with so many status updates and request so many face to face meetings that he can't micromanage anyone else and will eventually stop bothering you.

For this particular case, I think one solution would be to employ the mystery poop on the desk technique. He will get the message.
Schedule an 1:1 and tell him you don't like to be micro-managed
