I am presuming you are in Engineering. Experience depends on which team you join in Engineering. Some teams are amazing and have great culture and amazing people. I can't say much about WLB. My team does not have a good WLB. Managers on my team are poor and micromanage all the time. I have seen this with a few other teams as well. Stock is doing great cause the company in general is good at execution specially on the Sales side.

Why leaving Credit Karma for Okta?

We are doing some really interesting stuff identity. We are also the only identity company to be this successful and there are many companies that either get bought out or are private. So the sales momentum is too much to stop right now. Engineering is thinking about great problems like how to support the growing scale needs and more interesting modern security architectures. I'd say it's a good time to join. There are growing pains but ive been ok with them for nearly four years now and I'm still bullish on our future.
