TC 330 (400 w/appreciation), 10yoe Targeting senior position. Seattle Looking to move from AWS to Meta. Would like to hedge my bets with companies that pay similarly. I was thinking stripe. But unsure about others. Would avoid Microsoft (too low), Airbnb (doesn't seem stable), Google (year long matching, too low, doesn't seem stable at all, lost engineering-centric culture), and snap (doesn't seem stable). Any suggestions?

Are you l5?
Yeah
Apple, LinkedIn, databricks, Netflix if you can get an interview
Thanks! Whoa! Holy shit! Netflix has a Seattle office now!? Just double checked on levels. Been a while since I've interviewed. Definitely adding them to my list, I'd love to try Netflix as well.
Netflix does not have Seattle office. But they have huge remote workers presence in Seattle. That’s what I was told by recruiters at least

Can you elaborate with the year long matching part for Google? I’m currently interviewing with them Does it take a year to find a team?
I saw a comment thread on blind a few days ago where a bunch of people said they had been in team matching for a year. Google seems like a shit place to be these days.
Are you still hired by Google during that time? Is that after you sign the offer or before? Sorry I’ve never had anything like that at the companies I’ve worked at.
