Received a verbal offer for the SDE-2 role at Slice Bangalore. Was told that they won't roll out the offer proposal unless a verbal confirmation from my end. Currently given two options: Option 1: 35L fixed Option 2: 33L fixed + 8L ESOPs (vested over 4 years) Competing offer: Sixt R&D India: 27L Fixed + 2.7L variable + 1L JB + 3.37L yearly loyalty bonus = 34L Current TC: 19.5L Fixed + 1.5L variable YoE: 3.5 years Does anyone have any idea about the work culture in the organization? That'd be really helpful! What would you suggest to go with if looking at only these two options for now? The current offer received seems below the average offers being rolled out currently in the job market, I think I can do better. In the final rounds with Mindtickle currently, awaiting their offer if everything goes well. TIA #bangalore #engineering
Slice is having 3 days a week work policy right?
They did come up with that recently. But I believe this offer is for 5 working days a week. Will need to confirm with the acquisition partner once.
3 days a week if you are joining from FAANG based companies It's a marketing strategy to get attention
3 days offer comes with the catch of a lower CTC. I did talk to one HR about it.
Did you accept the offer???
35 L base for 3.5 yoe sounds average offer to you?
One clarification, 35L is the TC - it doesn't have any joining/loyalty bonus, variable play, etc. To answer your question, I was comparing it with the tech offers being floated around lately.
