Is there anyone working at Lemonade Inc? How's the work culture and How is company doing after acquiring Metromile? #FinTech
I recently left Lemonade and can confirm that the culture is very toxic. They add you to a whatsapp group chat with all the office in it. You are expected to work over hours. The ceo micromanages every new feature and PMs are noticeably scared of him Management treats people as resources. They have an in-office work culture, don’t expect a wfh policy (management is very fond of elon musk) They reprehend you if you have your camera off in the all hands meeting or any of the big presentations with everyone which is ridiculous. One of the worst things about it is the cultish mentality the employees have, it is very unnerving. Honestly I wouldn’t go back even if they tripled my salary

Sheryl Sandberg Caught Spreading Israeli Disinformation
Heard from a friend that they force all new hires to do a post in a slack channel all about them, which has to be reviewed by the office manager before they post it. If you don’t do that they’ll fire you. Sounds like a pretty toxic culture to me.
