Meta IC5 here. I am feeling very unhappy with work in Meta because of the frequent changes of directions and lack of stability, the majority of my energy was used to deal with changes instead of creating something meaningful for others. I'm thinking about leaving Meta, but I don't know if other companies are just gonna be the same. What's your experience after leaving Meta? #meta
I'd be fine with that, as long as I didn't have to work on these shitty internal tech stack.
wasn't goldman moving to a modern stack recently
moving doesn't equal moved. There's too much dependency on stuffs that were supposed to be phased out at least a decade ago. All spaghetti systems.
I am definitely much happier, good riddance.
how do i become you? teach me 😭
Who wouldn't be happier at hrt??
It’s same everywhere.
I hate working here
Yes and no. There are things I miss but i no longer have that horrible dread/stress. My mental health is 1000% better
My life dramatically improved. The dumpster fire that is Snap was a huge quality of life improvement. Playing PSC simulator all day every day was so mentally grating.
Everyone is unhappy everywhere.
