I got an offer at Southwest Airlines for a Manager level role in the Technology group based in Dallas. I have 12 years of experience. Offer is $160k base, some bonus but not substantial. They said this is likely the best they can offer. Is this too low or is this fair? #southwestairlines
Can't speak for offer RE cash, but airlines sometimes offer a profit share (e.g. Delta), so perhaps you can propose something like that. This also aligns your interests to their financial success. Also, free flights is a great perk in times when we can actually go places and do things.
I mean, that’s kinda low for 12 years. But the perks might make it worth it
Are you from Compass health?
No the real estate company
Fair for swa. Salaries are avg because of free flights and profit sharing - 9-10% profit sharing (precovid),9.3% 401k
Free flights don’t really cost anything
Too low. But the benefits are great.
I'd say that is average. PM if you want inside scoop or more details on salaries at SWA.
Can you share more info about SWA salaries?
160 not worth it. People are generally great though.
Salary is low but benefits are good
Do you get free tickets to anywhere on first class?
Southwest has only one class
O ya! Forgot about that
