Tesla battery day hype?
I don’t get what the hype is about, it’s not like they perfected lithium air battery technology. They probably just made marginal incremental energy density improvement and/or cost decrease on the same old lithium ion technology. Any expert care to share their opinion?

Nothing more than hype. Lucid has outdone Tesla with range and acceleration. We are now at a point in EV technology where battery day doesn’t matter anymore, many competitors and no one winner

A close friend at Tesla said it was a longer lasting battery. If that is indeed true, this much hype is criminal.
