I’m a non-tech MBA going to be a PM in AI/ML and want to understand what I should do to improve my technical understanding + set myself up for success in my new role. For any of these options, I would use my company educational allowance so cost is no issue. Also will probably focus on AI/ML in either path. Would love to hear your thoughts on which route is better and why. Thanks all! #product #pm #productmanager #ai #machinelearning
Many people who voted liked the MCIT. I have been getting mixed opinions. I initially liked the MCIT program but the cost of the Georgia Tech program is unbeatable
What did you end up doing? I am considering these programs now. The GT MS in CS seems to be the better degree, but I have heard it is brutally difficult. MCIT seems to be more difficult to get into but much more manageable in terms of coursework.
Do you have any technical background at all?
I have exp in data analysis and statistical tools, as well as a Math major. I just don’t have much formal training in IT or CS.
OMSCS is the best bang for the buck, but it'll kill your WLB since it is a full on engineering degree. Just do Udacity classes if you want to actually learn more
