Zoox vs Nuro: Rate them
Hi Blinders, I am in the pre-offer stages with both Nuro and Zoox and want to get a sense for how life would be like if I were to join either. Zoox will likely offer me L4, and Nuro L5. So comp will without doubt be in Nuro’s favor. But I like Zoox’s role more. Self driving is going down ... Waymo and Zoox will be the last players left until they shut up shop too. Don't even bother joining another company at this point if you want to stay in self driving
You don’t start vesting ZARs until year two completion and they vest over six years. Just something to consider since most I’ve seen start at one year and vest over three or four. I think that the potential for greater stock growth is better at Nuro IF they survive since they can still IPO. Big IF though.

8 in likelihood is bad. Very high probability of layoffs is my perception
