I am hoping the hiring team and those responsible to fail me in the interview process should suffer badly in their day to day life. i know i am being mean .. you may think ai am idiot .. they are much more mean.. didnt even give the feedback .
Maybe they chose someone else over you. Even if you did well, someone else could’ve done better. It happens.
Sounds like you are not a culture fit....anywhere.
I spoke nicely in the interview . What the hell is culture fit anyways .. is it just massaging their ego.
At my work as well and previous jobs as well I got feedback that I am nice and friendly to work with . I am feeling powerless . I need to move to that city (family reasons ) and they have less companies there even to interview . I feel very bad like a loser .. and obviously they are the winners and superiors in power to decide the next course of my life . My wife is going to work in that city and I need to go there as well to be with her .
I went through five interviews and the company dragged this for two months and after waiting two weeks, rejection without any feedback. And I had to reach out to see if they had made a decision. It’s part of the game, you need a job and you are at their mercy. You just have to move on. Everything happens for a reason. There is something a lot better out there for you.
Yes I am at their mercy . You put it correctly . I am feeling powerless .
No need to feel powerless. If you are in SF Bay Area, the job market is hot...but so are the number of candidates. You are competing with people that are looking for a job and the ones that are what I call jumpers - changing jobs in less than a year. Also there are ones that want to just receive an offer and take it to their current employer for a raise. It’s just how things are run here. It’s like dating you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find Prince Charming. Don’t give up. Keep going at it. You will get it.
Maybe high iq, definitely low eq
Lmao
Yikes bro calm down
🤩 I know it’s bad thinking. But what can I do, I am feeling lost .
Calm down dude, sorry that u feel that way. Also usually no feedback will be given, don't think it's personal.
If you got rejected, I’d bet the interview did not go well. Life goes on, don’t give up
They could share what went wrong .. they didn’t . I spent so many hours answering all the questions they asked me .
That’s industry standard. From your demeanor shown here, it’s pretty wise that they didn’t give you feedback. I have gotten recruiters to ignore that rule for me cause they can usually trust that I am not going to come after the company for them giving it. If they didn’t feel like giving it to you, then don’t blame them for it.
