The use of GMOs (Bioengineered products) is so much in the US that it is almost impossible to eat anything that’s not artificial Even the food at Whole Foods is made with bad oils (Canola and other equally harmful oils) and have bioengineered ingredients. One can’t stay in the US and be healthy for long TC: $200K YOE: Far too many
Yup
humans have been breeding crops since forever. any hybrid rice is “GMO”. panic is unwarranted
Live in the mountains and grow your own food then? No really, people in rural Japan does this and they have the longest life expectancy. Impressive for a first world nation If that’s not an option then cook your own and use organic+raw ingredients when you can
Ahh the idiots that think all seed oils are bad and that all GMO things are somehow artificial. What oil do you think they use elsewhere? Mustard oil? Sesame oil? All of those are seed oils too. Guess what they use in Japan, where the life expectancy is the highest of any large country? They use sesame oil, also a seed oil. They also selectively breed everything and genetically modify vegetables in a lab. Being healthy is a choice you make. It isn’t the seed oils and GMO things making you fat, it’s all the sugar and other actually unhealthy foods you’re eating.
GMO are the least of your problems. Think microplastics, chemicals from mineral oil and PFAS.
and pesticides and the materials in clothing, mattresses that likely pollutes your air and skin and the toxins in home cleaning products - check EWG for the toxins in your cleaners, it’s bad - it takes work to find healthy alternatives
Fear of GMOs is the easiest brainlet filter ever. It's sad chemophobia is so normalized.
Some of what he says is true, there stark differences in the list of food ingredients banned across the world but still flourishing in the US. You really have to be careful...
why is canola oil harmful?
Industrial waste
A record number of Olympic gold medalists disagree.
Point. All of them perhaps have Mexican food 😎
GMO foods aren't necessarily unhealthy. Sometimes they can be better too. For example tomatoes can be GM to release more anti oxidants. Far more important is balancing the diet. The problem is the US typical plate is carb heavy.
