No
Sounds like youβll fit right in.
Why?
"Cloud Pak" is super general. I work on an add-on for one of the cloud paks and I love my team and my work. However, the vast majority of people I know working on or under one of the cloud paks hate their lives. It's super dependent on team.
Really? Why do they hate cloud pak? Any insights would be very helpful. Got an offer for a cloud developer in Austin and I havenβt heard good things about ibm. Worth the jump?
I know nothing about Prudential so I can't say. There's a lot of mismanagement and poor planning. Things are rushed and very last minute, new requirements come days before code freeze (happened to us literally yesterday, code freeze is Friday). I don't know how mature the other cloud paks are, but the one I work under is hectic af. Good news is that you should be working with the latest buzzword technologies: docker, kubernetes, helm, etc.
Itβs good if you like to work from home and coast at mediocre pay. I go into the office maybe once every few months. Best WLB.
No one at IBM: I am so excited to work today and challenge myself!
Did they have too much work?
Depends on the individual, product, manager, and teammates. Your question is so dumb
I am never micromanaged. Big plus for me.
IBM is a shit place to work. And there might not be a worse team than the cloud pak team
Lolololol go there when you want to retire and are jaded. They are trash
Nope!
Not really
Better than prudential?
