is referral important in splunk hiring process
i saw a couple of posts asking for splunk pm referral? is it very important to the hiring decision? just had a call with a recruiter today.
Splunk’s recruiters have always been legendary for adding weeks to the process and for ghosting applicants and hiring managers alike. Persistence in the face of them is your sole recourse.

don’t understand why anyone would refer someone they don’t know. Other than trying to collect some referral $$
Probably yes if you want your resume make it to the HM without getting thrown out by recruiter, but once the phone screen starts I don't think it's relevant any more.
A referral goes a long way anywhere. There are folks here who get pinged by recruiters or apply online and get in just fine. Others get a referral and get in as well.
