How is company culture at Toast?

Considering applying to Toast, but reading through Glassdoor reviews I'm wondering if it really is as much of a bro culture as it's made out to be? Also, feedback of WLB varies hugely. Anyone here can give insight?

If you're applying for a software position it can really vary depending on the team hence why the WLB can vary hugely. Although, for example, those with children are able to take the time they need and unlimited vacation is actually unlimited. I find that higher ranked engineers are approachable and helpful although they can be hard to track down since they are so busy. I personally have never felt a "bro culture", but would love to know more of what you mean.

Thanks for replying. Good to hear that overall atmosphere is good. What had me a little worried is accounts of female employees (on Glassdoor) saying that they are being talked over in meetings etc. constantly. Example: "Boys club. That majority of Toast meetings are men speaking over women. As a female I have to be harsh to be heard and even then I feel that most of the time I am talking to a rock. If I has a dollar for every time I could have said "I told you that would happen, but you didn't bother to process anything I said”, I would have at least $3 A DAY, so something like $2,340 based on my tenure and working days in a year."
