Except for critical roles, Google will start sending denial emails to candidates despite interview performance so that they don't need to deal with bad press for "rescinding the offer letters".
Bro. Are you just trying to get attention? Why bother with new interviews then?
Tell that to the recruiter team. They show how busy they are with this BS interview crap.
So by your statement, a fantastic hire will just get nuked because they can’t be bothered to find a new role for him/her. I don’t think it works that way. I could see them increasing the bar to let’s say “only strong hires” will make it to HC or team match. There are lots of ways to take advantage of the useless recruiters than just reject all the best candidates.
I am just getting L after L here.
nooooooo u cant just rescind my heckin jobarino! 😲 REEEEEEEE 🤬
WTF That's still bad for branding Especially when candidates who did well and are a good fit get rejected
Any clue on what are going to be deemed critical roles?
Well of course. You don’t tell people they will receive an offer when you have a hiring freeze.
Is open headcount in your team eliminated?
Bold move. Let’s see how it plays out. ….gets denial email and nothing happens
I doubt Google would do that.
Bad for Google as they lose out on pool of candidates that actually cleared their interviews and they could hire in the future. Btw Amazon is hiring.
Nah not 99% of them they are simps. If google denied them before and one day randomly offered to hire they would take it
Well that’s what I’m saying…. Those simps would need to reloop now and the thought of having to reloop may be unappealing to a candidate after their bad experience.
