Hi guys, Can anyone give insight on what is the work culture of Cloudera as a build engineer and immigration process regarding PERM? How fast is it and when do they apply? Thanks!
Former Clouderan here. The individuals on the ground getting the work done are easy to talk to and get help from. Genuinely great people for the most part, but the leadership and strategic vision are at best nonexistent and at worst completely inept. Also while the pay is good there is no longer stock, and career growth has always been a challenge for the company. Since the company just got bought by a private equity firm it’ll likely undergo major (negative) changes in the near future to “trim the fat”. I’d look elsewhere until the company can get lean and competitive again.
I’m finding it really tough to get any info on Cloudera culture. Nobody seems to post about them here and nobody who has left is responsive to cold outreach. Not sure if the people who work there aren’t online or what’s up. Kinda strange.
