What's wrong? He can do anything with his money

I think the OP is just jealous that we get to work on the coolest robots AND we get paid for it. :P Honestly, in my opinion, there isn't any field more interesting right now than AGI and robotics, and we're only just now starting to see its potential to improve human lives. For those passionate about working in legged robotics - we're hiring!

Hey! I am currently interviewing at Figure. How are you liking it and do you have any general tips for interviewing?

Figure vKGJ54 Mar 13

I really like it! Honestly, I find my day to day experience at work enjoyable. The team here is also very knowledgeable and supportive. As for tips for interviewing: Be thorough if you have to prepare a case study. You will probably be asked a lot of questions. Be prepared to talk about previous projects you've worked on, the design and engineering choices you made, and the results you got. Depending on the role you interview for, a good knowledge of robot dynamics, optimization, and machine learning would be helpful.

How is the pay range at Figure?

Figure vKGJ54 Mar 15

I don't know the general pay range at the company. I have 2 years of experience out of college and my base pay is $180k/year +$15k annual bonus. In other words, my impression is that we are well paid at Figure.

Figure vKGJ54 Apr 7

Sure. In my case, I had two calls with various engineers on the team to get to know each other. They asked some technical questions and asked about my experience on my resume. Then they gave me a case study which I had to prepare for and presented in a call with more members of the team. I also included a part in the presentation about my background that was relevant to the role. You may or may not be asked some coding questions, depending on what role you're interviewing for. Overall, interviewing with Figure was a very pleasant experience, and I felt like I really got to know the team and that they got to know me before I accepted the offer. The interview process was fast and way more straightforward than a lot of the BS runaround that other companies in the Valley put you through.
