Text messages from work
It appears to have reached a point of absurdity where our personal phones are used for 100’s of texts from managers each day. @autonation GM creates a new text group every half hour for whatever question he has. We have also had to implement sales team text groups. When should the company reimburse cell phone fees if they are being abused by management. #auto #autonation #carbiz #bmw Are text messages abused in your workplace?
You will have to draw a line and pick one of these : WLB or career growth. If you dont worry about making a progress, just take a personal number and turn off your office phone. Ultimately your managers would know about this and you should be ok. But dont expect to get promoted over others who are still sloggin the night
This is more about “who left a car in customer parking,” have some one answer the leads!! Not consumer interaction. All micromanaging!!!!

I let the company buy me a phone for this exact reason. I don't want company apps and annoying messages on my personal phone. Yes, I carry two. Work phone doesn't travel with me outside work hours or on weekends.
Always wondered how AutoNation was as a company..
It sucks to have your phone blown up by mgmt all day. And the text groups? Ugh. It should all be through the Autonation phone portal. They should not allow texting like that.
Get a private number and turn off the old phone after work hours
