I had passed the karat interview round of Walmart global tech, and the recruiter asked me to schedule the final round interviews when her team would get back to me with details. But today, around 5-6 pm I received an email from her saying that the interview process has changed. She’ll update me with 2-3 weeks. Anyone faced similar situation before? What to make of this situation? TC: 130k #Walmart #tech #WalmartGlobaltech
Yes, I was also told the same thing.
Did they elaborate on what they meant by this?
No
Our processes change so often that there is always a confusion. Don't even know why you want to move to Walmart in the first place. Not a good culture at all.
If you don't know already, there's a hiring freeze. Only most needed positions are filled right now, for rest they are not in rush. Keep your options open and apply to other companies as well. If your position requires immediate backfill or its too important to buisness, you'll be processed within a week or two.
Hiring freeze is probably the reason.
what’s karat interview? Also i think it would be because they have slowed down hiring . Last year almost all interns got a return offer . this year its like 50-60%
Which team/org did you interview for ?
Nope my experience with them was they were quick and highly motivated to onboard. Update in 2-3 weeks sounds like bargaining for time.
Time for what!?
No idea. Bye the way is this contract or fte role?
