Which does not have adverse effects on the climate? TC: 143K
why not give an old one another chance ☢️
Nuclear isn't perfect but it's the best option we have. We should use a lot more of it. Just don't build them right next to the ocean, or on fault lines.
Modern reactor designs are much safer than the crap we had in the 50s and 60s. Pebble bed reactors can self air cool to shutoff. Fukushima wasn't caused by the earthquake or reactor design issues. It was caused by the backup power generators being in the basement not the rooftop in a tsunami
Affirm knows what he’s talking about.
bruh we're barely even utilizing the clean energy sources we already have. discovering a new one is not going to magically change that.
It could, if the newer source is superior to the ones we have. Namely: weather-independent, year-round source with no harmful byproducts, easy to generate, store and transport.
Educate yourself on geothermal and heat pumps. No, it’s not only Iceland and ticks all the boxes on your list
Cleaner portable energy generation source Or may be a way to store energy cleanly …. Li batteries are not really helping at this point…
No we have discovered enough. The focus should be on good implementation and distribution. Not creating another source and learning 1000 ways it can destroy us
Wasn't there some breakthrough recently by the national laboratory in livermore
Has to be nuclear, until fusion is figured out.
Fusion just happened y'all. Net energy out is positive! About to invest soon
Geothermal might be the safest of the renewables. Maybe what we really need is an advancement in drilling technology so we can go super deep super cheap. Put one in every neighborhood.
Crystalline hydrogen gas as fuel 😂
Klear
Ah, finally someone who watched Glass onion. I'm glad Apple didn't ruin this movie for us
