I took a stand and got terminated lol
I recently received an opportunity with Medtronic. After being selected and signing the offer, they sent me a H1B transfer request form instead of a new H1B application form. I haven't heard a response from them yet. Is this something I need to be worried about or things like these happen?
Did you tell the hiring manager that you already have h1b or need h1b?
Yes, during screening I mentioned that I require a new H1B
They might have taken it as renew existing H1B in which case they transfer current H1B and get that extended when the case was to actually apply for H1B from scratch. I would suggest to get that issue sorted ASAP.
There is no such thing as a H-1B transfer. Each application is a new H1B application, only difference is that you don't have to wait for the lottery.
