Actually home prices are lower today than spring 2022. He did a lot to cool down the prices when he raised rates. Good time to buy before it goes up. If rates were constant you would see prices 15-20% higher than 2022 spring. Thanks to the higher rates prices dropped and have still not hit the 2022 peak. Once rates do drop expect prices to go much higher as a lot more competition enters the market
Kidding aside.. the area seeing the greatest growth due to people leaving the Bay Area is the Sacramento/Roseville area.. Huge housing developments are going up in Elk Grove, Folsom and Roseville. My prediction - if the Vegas Brightline succeeds.. they will do this for the Capitol Corridor.. and that will seal the deal.. making it truly practical to live in Sac and work in Tech .. both will benefit.. This will happen within 10 years…
HSR has already been a decades long project and they barely have the Central Valley started.
Brightline is much more promising
