Lost my job, facing huge difficulty getting a job.. losing hope. :-(
Hi blinders, , I don't know how to put, I am feeling quite low today because after searching/applying/interviewing for last 4+months, I am still not close to any offer. And have very limited opportunities left now due to tight market condition and huge candidate pool. Feels like interviews getting tougher and tougher. Need emotional & professional support here. Honestly, never found it so difficult to find the next job, despite having good experience on my resume. :-( Is there any country or company where I can get in easy ( I mean not very stringent selection criteria) #swe #techjob 7yoe, 43L
I understand it's hard to get in the top tier companies but still plenty of jobs if you are willing to take a pay cut in the mid range companies. Are you looking at other cities and countries?
honestly haven't explored other countries at all because not sure how to apply.. cities I am trying..
What level and job family were you at Amazon? Location preference?
Experienced sde2.. fine with any city right now.

Sorry to hear that. I have been looking for the last 16 months. I think I am on a path of giving up but need to find another profession. Give your self another year and try. It’s a tough market but maybe it will improve.
