Hi friends, I recently relocated to San Francisco from Europe and I'm diving into the housing search. I'm joining a startup in FiDi and I want to optimize my situation for social interactions, b/c I want to immerse myself in the local community. About me: - Age: 26 - Salary: $145k base - Living with: My girlfriend and a friend (Looking for 2BR/2BA) Preferences: - Safety: A top priority, especially since we're new to the area. - Centrality: We want to be close to social hotspots to meet new people without significant commutes. - Comfort: We appreciate a touch of luxury and a comfortable living environment. So far, I've explored Mission Bay. While the properties there are modern and great, I'd prefer not to commute 30 minutes just to hang out with people the Mission. Speaking of which, I've heard great things about the Mission District's vibrant atmosphere and have friends living there. Currently, I'm considering "The Madelon" at 2823 18th St. They offer a 2BR/2BA at $4.8K/mo, and it's within a secure area of the Mission. Do you have any thoughts or recommendations based on my criteria? Any feedback would be greatly helpful. Thanks everyone 🙏 #sanfrancisco #renting #housing
Hayes Valley could be a good choice

Mission Bay is really busy whenever there is a game or event.
